You'll witness Turkey's delights over 12 days, starting with Istanbul, where you witness the rush of this ancient city, exploring everything from the markets to some of its oldest structures. You'll then move down to the otherworldly Cappadocia, a curious landscape where underground cities and endless networks of hand-hewn caves carve out an alternative lifestyle below the surface. Cruise down to the Aegean coast to Kusadasi, where you'll spend a day pampering yourself in Pamukkale's thermal springs before you relax at one of Turkey's well-known resort town's Marmaris.

Day 1 - Begin Your Best of Turkey TourWelcome to Turkey! Upon arrival at the airport in Istanbul, you will meet your driver to be transferred to your hotel in the city centre. You have the rest of the day at leisure to explore Istanbul or to relax after your flight. You can stroll around the Grand Bazaar, visit the Blue Mosque or the Hagia Sophia, considered to be one of the most beautiful buildings in the world.

Day 2 - Guided Tour of IstanbulToday, you'll have a guided day tour of the city, including lunch. Start off with the UNESCO World Heritage-listed, Old Istanbul. Visit the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and the Byzantine Hippodrome, where emperors once saw chariot races. You'll then go to the Hagia Sophia museum, a place of worship for 900 years, and finish the day at the lavishly appointed Topkapi Palace.

Day 3 - Free Time to Explore IstanbulEnjoy an afternoon at leisure in the city. Explore the alleys and open courtyards of the city where quaint coffee shops and curio corners present a truly unique day exploring the city. Why not do as locals do and sit for a Turkish coffee to soak up the atmosphere? Another suggestion is to experience a traditional Turkish Bath in the Old City.

Day 4 - Fly to CappadociaThis morning, your driver will transfer you to the Izmir airport for your flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival at Kayseri airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Cappadocia. You'll then have the rest of the afternoon and evening free to spend as you wish. You may want to explore the area on your own or simply relax at your hotel.

Day 5 - Guided Tour of Cappadocia and Fly to KusadasiStart the day in the most magical way possible with a hot air balloon ride over the mars-like landscape of Cappadocia. After breakfast, start your tour of the many sites of Cappadoccia with the underground city of Kaymakli. Then, continue with famous areas such as the Devrent Valley, Pashabag, Avanos, Goreme Open-Air Museum, and Esentepe, Uchisar Castle. At the end of the tour, transfer to Kayseri airport to fly to Kusadasi.

Day 6 - A Day in KusadasiAs the gateway to Ephesus, Kusadasi has a laid-back vibe where the calm of the sea reflects the way of life here. Explore the town on foot, where you'll be introduced to the Turkish way of life in the south, where a rest bite with a coffee in the shade is a welcome way to soak up the atmosphere. Today, you can visit the essentials, such as the castle and the Great Bazaar to enjoy a mix of history and local life.

Day 7 - PamukkalePamukkale is the centre of a thermal spring with healing properties. Due to the chemical properties in the water, pure white coloured travertine and water terraces have been created on the mountain slope. Visit the travertine and the Ancient City of Hierapolis which has the biggest Necropolis with 1,200 gravestones in Anatolia. The sacred pool also is one of the highlights of the site. After exploring, you'll continue to Doga's thermal pool hotel to relax.

Day 8 - Drive from Kusadasi to MarmarisThis morning, you'll make the journey further south to Marmaris, a well-known resort town lined with pebble beaches. You'll arrive at your beachside hotel and have time to enjoy the weather for the remainder of the day. Marmaris is known for its vibrant nightlife and family beachside holiday atmosphere, however, you'll find relaxation in your hotel location.

Day 9 - A Day to Enjoy MarmarisToday will be free for you to enjoy. You may wish to catch up on your favourite book by the poolside and enjoy the calming sound of the waves on the beach. If you wish to explore further, Marmaris has a charming old town that warrants exploration. Wandering the cobbled streets and past rustic white-wash houses you'll find quaint cafes, curio shops and restaurants that offer a cooling rest stop.

Day 10 - A Day in MarmarisRelax in your hotel or head out to explore Marmaris. Today, you may wish to explore the coastline by kayak or you can learn to dive with instructors from your hotel. Alternatively, head to Marmaris' harbour for a boat trip to one of the many islands offshore where you can snorkelling or enjoy a different beach. Marmaris has many restaurants in the old town, enjoy some Turkish and Ottoman-inspired food to complete the day.

Day 11 - Fly back to IstanbulThis morning, you'll head to the airport after breakfast to fly back to Istanbul. When you arrive, you'll return to your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day. If you would like to stretch your legs, you can explore the surroundings of your hotel by yourself, this would be a good chance to do a little shopping.

Day 12 - Departure from IstanbulThis morning, after breakfast, it is time to say goodbye, having seen the best of Turkey. You'll be transferred to the airport when you're ready.
