Gallipoli-2015 Epic Cruise makes waves

The recent Melbourne Holiday and Travel Expo was extra special for Fairy Chimneys Travel. This year, the boutique travel agency launched an exclusive tour product. The Gallipoli-2015 Epic Cruise.

2015 marks the 100th ANZAC landing anniversary. This is a meaningful event for most Australians and many hope to commemorate the ANZAC centenary where it all began.

For some time, Fairy Chimneys Travel has been collecting expressions of interest in the Gallipoli-2015 Epic Cruise. Suggestions and feedback from travellers have led to careful development of an engaging and relevant cruise itinerary. Complete with recognised experts and military historians.

Until the Melbourne Holiday and Travel Expo, only pre-registered members had access to the Gallipoli-2015 Epic Cruise, and its partner tour products. But the luxury cruise has now been publicly launched.

For the expo on 17th and 18th March 2012, Fairy Chimneys' Travel stand was bedecked with Gallipoli-2015 banners. Many prospective travellers were fascinated by the seminars presented by Anzac Peace Prize winner, Dr John V Basarin, over the two day expo.

Interestingly, in Turkey the naval victory centenary of 18 March 1915 was being celebrated this same weekend. Something of a coincidence with an Epic Cruise launch. But it did nothing to dampen enthusiasm. Waiting list places were snapped up and one couple booked on the spot, saying they had 'been waiting for an opportunity to be part of something unique in their lifetime'.

The Gallipoli-2015 Epic Cruise has already attracted national attention. The distinctive approach, calibre of experts and rare opportunity are turning the tide on travelling to this once-in-a-lifetime event.
